Hosted by Westco Academy, this session will explore current evidence around the language that shapes people's pro-environmental behaviours and attitudes. We will look at how behavioural science can inform communications around Net Zero and what comms can and can't do for shifting green action.

Guest Speaker: Jake Reynolds

Jake is part of the Behavourial Insights Team's Energy, Environment, and Sustainability team, where he works on policy areas spanning home energy and heating, green transport, water efficiency, green waste and consumption, sustainable food systems and wildlife conservation. Previously, Jake was seconded to the UK Climate Change Committee to develop their thinking on public engagement and behaviour change for Net Zero, and is excited about the potential that behavioural insights can bring to climate communications.
