About Professor Paul Willis
A former board level public relations practitioner who has provided strategic counsel to a range of organisations and brands operating in the private, public and NGO sectors. Now combining this practical experience with academic insights to inform the delivery of innovative education programmes and research projects.
- Specialties: working in partnership with communication professionals and other senior managers to improve practice and add value to their organisations.
- Bespoke and co-created executive education programmes for senior practitioners.
- Research that informs practice, policy and teaching.
- Co-author of Strategic Public Relations Leadership (2013, Routledge).
- Appointed to the Government's Future Communication Council by the Cabinet Office and Prime Minister's Office.
- Visiting Fellow at the Department of Management Communication, The University of Waikato, New Zealand.
- Member of the Editorial Advisory Boards of the Journal of Communication Management and the Asia Pacific Public Relations Journal.
