As we slowly start to look beyond a world post-Covid19, and society begins to reopen in accordance with the government’s roadmap, we have created a campaign strategy along with creative assets to help councils encourage their residents to return to the high street safely.

The creative assets are completely free of charge for councils to use on their channels, as we believe that sharing resources, best practices and learnings is the most efficient and cost-effective way of managing campaigns in a Covid-19 world. All of the assets are designed to be shared on councils’ communication channels and can be used alongside their own content as well as central government campaigns.

To ensure the reopening of the highstreet campaign reaches the right people, at the right time, with the right content, we have teamed up with the Council Advertising Network (CAN) to provide councils with the ability to reach highly targeted audiences beyond their own digital estate in a highly effective and low-cost way using programmatic advertising.

Programmatic advertising allows councils to target and engage specific audience groups, such as age, demography and location, and then delivers a real-time evaluation on how many people are engaging and where.

This data is then used by Westco and CAN to create a highly targeted strategy with the most effective messages, tactics and creatives, refining the campaign further, and ensuring that residents are digesting the right content, and acting on its message.
