The Elephant Magazine is published four times a year on behalf of Southwark Council. It celebrates the neighbourhood and communities around Elephant and Castle; particularly the creativity and diversity of the area. It focuses on the arts, entertainment and new businesses opening and succeeding in the area.
Westco Creative has produced the magazine since its inception back in 2013. We were invited to pitch for the magazine based on our knowledge of resident-focused communications. The Southwark team loved the image-led design which features large photos and double page spreads. We produce designs for the magazine from content supplied by the editor.
We’ve continually evolved the magazine since our first inception. It was most recently refreshed in 2018 with new typefaces, stand-first treatments and page furniture.
